First Richard Speight Jr.’s film shows in my city, but it’s one of the showings that Richard himself does not attend.

Now apparently Jim Beaver is going to be here this weekend, but I’m going to be out of town.

THIS IS TWICE NOW THAT I HAVE BEEN THWARTED OUT OF MEETING SOMEONE FROM THE SUPERNATURAL CAST THAT I WOULD REALLY FUCKING LOVE TO MEET. AND IT’S EVEN WORSE BECAUSE BOBBY AND GABRIEL ARE MY TOP TWO FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN THE ENTIRE SERIES.

I think I’m going to cry.

Good news: I managed to get a reply from him on Facebook. (OHMYGODFANGIRLFANGIRLGABRIELTALKEDTOMEASDFGHJKLFANGIRLOHMYGOD… Okay, sorry, had to get that out.)

Bad news: He’s not going to the San Luis Obispo screening.

More good news: But Amy Gumenick is!

Now I can’t decide if I still want to go or not. One one hand, although she kicks ass, my love for Mary is nowhere near the level of my love for Gabriel, so I won’t be heartbroken if I don’t meet her. But then on the other hand, it’d still be cool to meet someone from the Supernatural cast; plus going would mean being a good fan and supporting RSJ’s film.

Well, I suppose I still have time to decide. The film is being shown over five days, and I don’t even know which day(s) she’ll be there. It’ll probably end up coming down to how busy I am at the time and whether or not I can get someone to go with me.

Okay, so I know I’m a bit slow on this, but I just found out that Richard Speight Jr. made a short film and that film is going to be played at a film festival in San Luis Obispo really soon.

Guys… I LIVE IN SAN LUIS OBISPO.

IS HE GOING TO BE AT THIS SCREENING?! I NEED TO KNOW IF HE’S GOING TO BE AT THIS SCREENING. I know he went to a few of the others, but I don’t want to get too excited yet just because, knowing my luck, this is probably one of the ones he’s not going to.

BUT EITHER WAY, I NEED TO FUCKING KNOW, BECAUSE THIS GUY PLAYED ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN SUPERNATURAL, AND NOW I’VE JUST BEEN SLAPPED IN THE FACE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF MAYBE SEEING HIM IN REAL LIFE WITHOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL A LONG WAYS AND SPEND LOTS OF MONEY.

SOMEBODY TEEEEEEELL MEEEEEEEEE! The film is called America 101, if that helps. WILL HE BE AT THE SLO SCREENING?!

This is a photo of a pray mantis that I took by my apartment a few days ago. I’m positing this purely out of conceit. Every now and then I take a really awesome picture and I’m like “WOAH! I took that?!” This is one of those pictures.

P.S. The pray mantises around here are such good models! Most insects fly or run away when you try to photograph them, but the pray mantises just stand there and pose. Plus they’re freakin’ huge, which generally makes them come out clearer. (I don’t have a very fancy camera.)
